Largely maps of Westchester County and its towns and villages showing individual lots; roads and railroads; land ownership; parks and parkways; historic sites; land patents; topographical maps; and proposed sites for the United Nations, 1946. Other maps include maps of the Revolutionary War in New York City, the Hudson River area, Westchester County, and New York State, 1776-1976; photostat copies of maps by Robert Erskine of roads and land ownership in Westchester County and of the Hudson River from New York to Newburgh, 1778-1780; bird's eye views of Pleasantville, 1927, and White Plains, 1887 and 1901; microfilm copies of Sanborn insurance maps for the towns of Greenburgh, Yonkers, Peekskill, White Plains, and Rye; and maps of New York State, New York City, and other New York counties. Atlases include New York and vicinity, 1867 and 1868; Westchester County, 1881-1953; the New York metropolitan district, 1891-1901; rural district north of New York City, 1908; the Hudson River Valley from New York to Troy, 1891; the city of Mount Vernon and town of Pelham, 1908; and a cycling atlas for the area within 50 miles of New York City, 1896.

The Sanborn Map Company was founded in 1867 with headquarters in New York City. Its purpose was to produce maps that would show "at a glance the character of the fire insurance risks of all buildings" in a give community. Since these maps had a very specialized use, "there were usually fewer than twenty orders for a single map sheet".
